TACOMA, HOTEL MURANO, AND THE MUSEUM OF GLASS
Embark on a unique two day adventure for four in Tacoma, Washington, home of the Museum of Glass. Begin your journey in the lobby of Tacoma’s Hotel Murano where you will experience the wonder of glass! Curator Tessa Pappas will guide you on a tour, illustrating her vision for the hotel and how she commissioned world renowned artists to create work which she integrated into nearly every facet of the hotel, from the lobby to the guest floors! Hotel Murano is providing a complimentary two-night stay, parking included, in two king deluxe rooms. Your host, Museum of Glass Curator Melissa G. Post, will lead a private tour of the museum and Hot Shop, arranging for additional tours of collectors’ homes and artist studios in and around Tacoma during your visit. You may also visit the Tacoma Art Museum, hike Mount Rainier, book a special tour to Mt. St Helens, ride the Spirit of Washington dinner train or simply relax in the hotel spa. This package includes dinner for four at Indochine Asian Dining Lounge.
